Before the teaching —

The Prophetic Forecast

Apostle Sherman opened in worship and intercession, then released a prophetic word over the movement before he ever reached his notes. Here is what the Lord said is coming.

A sound that breaks barriers

Release the Sound

“I’m releasing anointing on this movement to break sound barriers.” As you release a sound it breaks walls and brings breakthrough — and it starts in your house: cities, regions, and nations will open.

The next 15 months

The Airwaves

“I’m giving you the airwaves.” Over the next fifteen months a force releases through the movement; the Lord will use technology to take cities and regions, and anoint eyes and ears to see and hear differently.

Fulfilling a 2009 word

A House of Creatives

The prophetic booklet declared this would be “a house of creatives.” The up-and-down waves are over — now comes sustained, Holy-Ghost-filled creativity: telling stories, making movies, pioneering a different way.

Extraordinary power

Shadow Glory

A season of carrying God’s glory like the shadow of Peter that healed — “every place we erect the house, the shadow of that house over the city is getting ready to break breakthrough.” America, watch out for the shadow.✟ echo of Acts 5:15

The charge

“There is a difference between getting a word and working a word. If you leave that word on the altar and do nothing with it… you’ll miss out on the inheritance God wants to put in your hand.”— Apostle Sherman Dumas

🧭 Concept Overview

Just as we detox the body, the Lord called the house to detox the soul. A soul detox is a regular practice of identifying and releasing the spiritual toxins — the lies, fears, bitterness, and shame — that accumulate in the mind, will, and emotions and quietly keep us bound.

The key that unlocks it is truth. “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32) — and the Greek behind “free” is active, not passive: to liberate, to release from bondage, to loose. Truth doesn’t gently suggest freedom; it sets you free. Not your version of the truth — God’s truth. The enemy fights so hard for you to believe a lie precisely because a lie keeps you bound.

And freedom is never just personal. “When you get free, you don’t just heal yourself — you strengthen what you’re a part of.” You break generational cycles and increase the corporate anointing. This is the children’s bread: deliverance and wholeness are for the saved, not only the lost.

🔦 Deep Dive
🛠 Frameworks Presented
Framework 01

What a Soul Detox Is

  1. Identify and release spiritual toxins.
  2. Address unhealthy arguments and agreements.
  3. Break cycles of torment.
  4. Reclaim your freedom in Christ.
  5. Maintain spiritual cleanliness — regular soul hygiene.
Framework 02 · 1 Thess. 5:23

Spirit · Soul · Body

PartWhat it is
SpiritYour connection to God — sealed if you’re in Christ.
SoulMind, will, and emotions — the battlefield.
BodyYour physical nature.

The soul holds six things toxins attach to: thinking patterns, emotions, will & decisions, memories, belief systems, and identity.

Framework 03 · The Spine

The Five Sources of Soul Toxins

How toxins accumulate — and how they spread in community and leadership.

#SourceHow it spreads
1Unresolved trauma
abuse, rejection, abandonment
Creates doors; shame attaches and fear builds strongholds. A traumatized leader unconsciously passes fear to the team.
2Ungodly agreements
“I’m not worthy,” “this is just who I am”
Give oppression permission to stay. A leader’s agreement about themselves models shame to everyone else.
3Unforgiveness & bitterness“Poison you drink expecting the other to die.” In community it becomes the culture and unity breaks.
4Persistent sin & compromiseWeakens your spiritual immune system. Hidden compromise in leadership gives others permission, and the anointing gets blocked.
5Generational patterns
inherited shame, fear, addiction
Left unhealed, they become the movement’s inheritance — a little leaven leavens the whole lump.
Framework 04 · The Fruit

What a Soul Detox Produces

ClarityThe fog lifts off your mind.
PeacePeace comes where torment was.
FreedomThe weights trying to come on you break.
IdentityYou remember who you are.
WholenessYour soul is restored — abundant life (John 10:10).
Framework 05 · The Path

The Detox Prayer

  1. Repent of sins you know of and sins you’re unaware of; lay yourself on the altar.
  2. Come out of agreement with every lie and every word curse spoken over you.
  3. Renounce every stronghold that has tried to connect to your soul.
  4. Declare that you are totally and completely free in Jesus’ name.
  5. Receive by faith — “the kingdom of God is by faith, not feelings.” You don’t have to feel it to be free.

✍️ Reflection Questions

Soul Hygiene

Take an honest inventory. Tap each one — your progress saves on this device.

  • Which soul toxin do you most recognize in yourself right now — a lie you’ve believed, fear, bitterness and unforgiveness, or shame and condemnation?
  • What lie have you grown comfortable sitting in that God’s truth needs to actively break off of you?
  • Where have you been passively sitting at the table while lies are told? What truth is yours to speak as a light bearer?
  • Of the five sources — unresolved trauma, ungodly agreements, unforgiveness, persistent sin, generational patterns — which one is the open door in your life?
  • As a leader in any sphere, what unprocessed emotion are you carrying that is shaping the atmosphere for your family, team, or community?
  • What ungodly agreement have you made about yourself (“I’m not worthy,” “this is just who I am”) that you need to break and take back?
  • Is there an access point or relationship the Holy Ghost is telling you to “cut the tie” with — and what has kept you from doing it?
  • Is there unresolved offense — with a leader or someone in your community — you’ve kept private? How is it “telling on you,” and what conversation do you need to have?
